This is a network of supporters that believe all Hoosiers should be protected from secondhand
smoke exposure. Smoke-filled establishments like nightclubs, bars, and entertainment venues
are not generally protected by smoke-free ordinances and the results can be deadly. The U.S.
Surgeon General released a landmark report on the dangers of secondhand smoke. The
inescapable conclusion: secondhand smoke poses a very serious and scientifically proven health
risk to everyone. Comprehensive smoke-free policies are desperately needed to protect the public.
